WatchGuard Platinum Partners and IT Security Experts Rockford IT are pleased to announce that more of their team are now WatchGuard certified. Rockford IT’s 2nd Line Technicians, Dan and Dale are the most recent employees to have gained WatchGuard certifications.
On top of recently receiving a promotion to 2nd Line Technician, Dan has now completed his WatchGuard Fireware Essentials qualification. From old training resources to mini tests Dan used all available resources as he had little previous experience with firewalls. Dan spent approximately 30 hours revising for his qualification to ensure he passed with flying colours.
2nd Line Technician, Dale has been at Rockford IT for 2 years and now has four WatchGuard qualifications under his belt including; WatchGuard Firewall Essentials, WatchGuard Cloud Wi-Fi, Firewall Policies and Threat Detection and Response.
“It’s great that Rockford have given me the opportunity to attain technical qualifications to get certified and help with my technical confidence. I’ve really noticed the difference in my day to day dealings with WatchGuard issues. The course material for each exam is broken down into bite size sections which are easily legible with clear diagrams, though this doesn’t mean the exams are easy!”
The service desk team at Rockford IT continues to grow with investment in ongoing training and development, whether it be in product or customer service training. All of this essential training helps towards creating a better customer service experience for Rockford IT’s 230 contracted customer base.
